The internet has changed the way I shop with online stores. It is very convenient to get what you need in the comfort of your own home. I love Amazon so much. The 2-day shipping comes in handy, especially when you procrastinate. I found I get very impatient when other online stores don’t have 2-day shipping like Amazon. I find that I tend to do a lot of research before buying a product on a website that does not have a good return policy. I look at reviews and ask others if they have used the product before. Even though buying online is very convenient and easy it isn’t always the best. I find that I’ll buy things I do not need at the time. Part of that comes from instant gratification and another is to meet the free shipping threshold. I hate spending money on shipping so I will end up spending an extra $10 on another item to get free shipping. I am very much a consumer in that sense. I have gotten more environmentally conscious recently and started noticing the single-use plastic used in packaging and shipping. I try not to buy online as much anymore because of that.
